looks like Im BALDING….

I recently dyed my hair this pretty chocolate brown, to try and grow my natural hair color out, which is very strange, I have super light blonde in the front around my hair line, then like a darkish mousie blonde all over the rest. I did the brown bc I know it will wash out, my hair doesnt hold color well at all. I CANNOT use peroxide on my hair, its really damaged, I went from blonde to black to blonde to brown, yeah its bad. But anyway, my roots are making me look bald in the front its embaressing! I was thinking about giving myself bangs in the mean time, but I dont like bangs. So if you guys know of anything I could use… Maybe… please its gross!

A pic may help me answer this better, but from what you wrote why don’t you try styling it to the side? Play around w/ it!

My natural hair color is like yours. Super blond right in the front and dark mousy blond in the back, practically brown now. I dye my hair with Colorsilk very light beige blonde, I think this brand is not very damaging. No ammonia. I know what you mean about dying it dark. It has always been hard for me with dark colors in the past, cuz of those blond hairs in the front. Yes bangs does help out alot because you won’t see the hairline as well, if at all, depending on how much bang you cut. But that is a big step too! You might just have to go through a not so fun stage for a while and let your new hair growth blend into your dyed color. Or maybe you could give the front hairs a slight highlight effect, to help blend them in, and then don’t touch it after that! You could put some lemon juice, chamomile tea on those front strands for a more natural, but slower highlight effect. I have only tried the lemon before, and not much. Mostly I have just heard this info. You can google ” natural highlights for hair” or “lemon juice for hair” or “chamomile for hair” and research some more. Hope I was some help!!!!! :o)

Also, go to Wal~Mart ( if you want to :o) ) , and in the vitamin section, they have Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. They should carry this, I hope, my Wal-Mart does. This is one of the best deep moisturizers, and treatments for damaged hair. It really absorbs into the hair shaft. I use it and I love it! You can also take it as a supplement, which would help your hair from the inside out!!!!

Im taking biotin, it seems to really be helping, my hair feels thicker and is totally growing faster. I havent used the coconut stuff, but I will give it a try, I use the cholesterol cream, its really cheap but a really great conditioner, I only use it once a week though. I use so much crap LOL. Anyway, thanks for the advice I didnt even think about using lemon juice, I used it in hs and it worked wonderfly…. thanks again!!!
